I’ve decided to do a new blog series called “Ask the councillor”. Once a week (or thereabouts) I’ll solicit questions via Twitter and Facebook (or as comments on this post) and then answer the best one on my blog.

Pretty much anything goes, so long as it’s on the general theme of local government. Bear in mind that I’m a town councillor, so I  can’t answer questions about district or county councils with any particular authority, but if I do get a question outside my direct field of knowledge that’s interesting enough I’ll have  a stab at answering it.
